Jennifer Pearson, MS, LPC
Jennifer (she) is a West Texas, desert loving, lady from El Paso Texas that has been a San Antonio native since 2000. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has over 15 years of experience working in the mental health field. She received both her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s in Science from the culturally diverse Our Lady of the Lake University.
Jennifer’s early work in mental health exposed the heavy influence of culture, opportunity, and environmental components that shape thought, behavior, and choices in one’s life. Her personal memoirs have profoundly impacted her desire to advocate, educate, and empower individuals to take ownership of their life through the declaration of healthy boundaries.
Her main focus is the influence of normalized generational trauma and the alienation that often follows when/if an individual is fortunate to liberate themselves from cycles of maladaptive behavior. This can be generalized to cultural influence as well as the LGBTQIA+ community.
Her goal is to provide a relaxing atmosphere to begin to explore, embrace, and empower you. Jennifer’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Post-Modern therapy in which you are the expert of you, and she is the professional with the tools to help navigate you along your path to your desired goals.
Jennifer lives the mantra of daily self-care in a modern world by sipping coffee, indulging in podcasts, audiobooks, dogs, and laughter.
Jennifer is in network with Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO, Humana, and Optum/United.
