Max Bellman-Seeskin, LPC, MT-BC
Max Bellman-Seeskin (he/they) holds a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University, a CACREP accredited university, and a Bachelor’s of Arts is in Music Therapy from California State University, Northridge. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
Max specializes in helping people work through anxiety, depression, and assists LGBTQ+ people with embracing their authentic selves, from a place of lived experience. Max has worked with adolescents, adults, & older adults in mental health since 2007 in inpatient and outpatient settings as a Board-Certified Music Therapist.
Max believes that everyone has the right to the best quality of life possible, and that you deserve a safe, comfortable, and accepting therapeutic environment that helps you to move forward towards richer, fuller life experiences with dignity. Life is a journey that isn't smooth and doesn't come with easy answers, and Max believes that counseling is a partnership and You are the expert on your life. Max feels that the counselor’s role is to support you as a facilitator and a helper, and to work together to identify goals that will benefit you in personal growth and improving your quality of life. As such, clinical approaches will be tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Max resides in El Paso, Texas with his wife and their ever-growing zoo of thirteen rescue pets, and enjoys playing guitar, ukulele, making homemade pasta and watching sci-fi movies.
